The mission of NRD New England is to recruit the most highly qualified men and women for the United States Navy. We will do this while upholding the Navy Core Values of HONOR, COURAGE AND COMMITMENT.

The key tenants of my Command Philosophy:

INTEGRITY:
· Integrity is the basis of the Navy Core Values.
· It must be the foundation of every action we take and every decision we make.

TEAMWORK:
· Our strength and ability to achieve goals is multiplied when we work together.
· We must take care of our shipmates.
· Mutual respect for one another is essential.

SUCCESS:
· We must achieve our assigned goals. The ability of the Navy to protect our interests depends on us providing manning to the fleet.
· Advancement, career progression and personal growth are an indication that we are taking care of our Sailors.

TRAINING:
· Training is the cornerstone of success.
· Every evolution is a training opportunity and must be utilized to its fullest.
· NRD New England has a wealth of knowledge in its personnel assigned. It is every supervisor’s responsibility to share that knowledge.

COMMUNICATIONS:
· Open and honest communication up and down the chain of command is key and enhances our ability to resolve conflict.
· A different perspective can provide new solutions. Be open to new ideas.

ACCOUNTABILITY:
· Breaches of integrity will not be tolerated.
· Individuals that do not put forth an honest effort will be held accountable.

ATTITUDE:
· Enjoy life. A friendly, positive attitude is contagious.
· Work hard, play hard – a balance must be kept.
· Personal and family needs must be met. If there is a problem, inform your chain of command.
· Never Quit.

Our team is composed of some of the best Sailors, Officers and Civilians in the United States Navy! It is my desire to provide an environment and the resources required to foster the successful attainment of our goals as a Team.
